Almost Alice

Well, this be a bit different, no?

So this is one of my projects I had to turn in for art school.  Called 'notan,' basically it's a balance of black and white with all these shapes and patterns that you can pick out if you look closely.  Mine turned out looking pretty psychedelic and trippy, even a little Alice in Wonderland-ish (hence the title) (And seriously, I would SO love a floor like this in my room!)  I couldn't stop adding shapes as I went, so it ended up being quite a project.  And seriously... this sonofabitch took me over FIFTEEN GODDAMN HOURS TO INK!!  And bending over this thing completely KILLED my back.  Because you have to be careful and make the lines crisp, plus this was on a HUGE sheet of paper, so I put a shitload of work into it.  Luckily my teacher really liked it (in fact he threatened me, like, "You'd BETTER put this on DA!"  Ah jes love him ^^).

So sorry, no Zim art this time (I'm so buried in school projects it might be awhile, and my apologizes to anyone waiting on a trade with me), but I hope you enjoyed seeing another artistic side of me ^^
